Australian spinner Jess Jonassen was on Sunday dominated out of the continuing five-match T20 collection towards the India girls’s cricket group attributable to a hamstring damage. Jonassen can be changed by leg-spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington who is predicted to succeed in India by Tuesday. Australia gained the series-opener by 9 wickets and the second sport can be performed on Sunday.
Jonassen strained her hamstring whereas fielding within the first match. “She’s since been assessed and it’s evident that the timeframes required for a return during this series are too short,” Australia group physiotherapist Kate Beerworth instructed cricket.com.au.
“Jess will be unavailable for the remainder of the series and will return to Brisbane to continue her rehab.” Her alternative Wellington final performed a T20 on the tour of India again in 2018.
