Women’s IPL: Media rights up for grabs for five-year period | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The media rights for a five-year interval between 2023-27 for the Women’s Indian Premier League (WIPL) can be up for grabs because the BCCI introduced launch of Invitation to Tender which can be out there for buy until December 31, 2022.
“The Governing Council of the IPL invites bids from reputed entities to acquire the Media Rights for the Women’s Indian Premier League Seasons 2023-2027, through a tender process,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah acknowledged in a media launch.
Whether the media rights bid for WIPL can be a sealed one-time bid or incremental e-auction bids has not but been specified.
The ‘Invitation to Tender’ (ITT) bid doc prices Rs 5 lakh plus relevant tax. The process to acquire the ITT paperwork is enlisted in Annexure A of the doc. The ITT can be out there for buy until December 31, 2022.
Any get together wishing to submit a bid is required to buy the ITT.
However, solely these satisfying the eligibility standards set out within the ITT and topic to the opposite phrases and circumstances set out therein, shall be eligible to bid.
It has been clarified that merely buying the ITT doesn’t entitle any individual to bid.
