Your eyes aren’t enjoying methods on you. Fear the Walking Dead continues to be on the air and a trailer for its eighth and ultimate season is right here. In it, the present makes direct reference to a significant character in the original series, offering a hyperlink that followers have been curious about since day one.
Day one was back in August 2015 and it was a really, very different show back then. It adopted a household, lead by Madison (Kim Dickens), on the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, a time interval the principle Walking Dead present by no means actually dove into. In the next seasons although, Fear has moved its timeline fairly rapidly. People die, come again, the setting adjustments, and on this newest season, seven years have handed bringing the present nearly up so far with the opposite one, which you’ll get a way of on the finish of this trailer.
Wait, what the hell is that at 43 seconds? Is {that a} zombie head connected to a robotic arm? It seems like one thing out of Steven Spielberg’s A.I! That picture greater than the rest on this trailer piques my curiosity, much more than now-star of Fear, Morgan (Lennie James) returning residence to King’s County, Georgia. That’s the place he first met Walking Dead star, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and since Rick is getting his own show soon it’s a must to surprise, wailing the 2 meet once more? We’ll have to attend and see.
As for all the pieces else, minus robot-zombie-head, here’s AMC’s official description of the ultimate season of Fear the Walking Dead which debuts May 14:
The eighth season begins after the conclusion of Season 7, when Morgan’s (Lennie James) and Madison’s (Kim Dickens) hopes to rescue Mo from PADRE didn’t go as deliberate. Now, Morgan, Madison and the others they dropped at the island live beneath PADRE’s cynical rule. With our characters demoralized and dejected, the duty of reigniting perception in a greater world rests with the individual Morgan and Madison got down to rescue within the first place — Morgan’s daughter, Mo.
